This kit is used primarily to adjust the wide open throttle shift points. Light & part throttle shift points are also proportionally modified. With this kit you will be able to make your transmission's shift points match your engine's power curve. Factory governors shift the transmission before peak power is achieved (this is especially true after any performance modifications) thus robbing you of much of your performance gains.
